Everything in our shop is something we’d happily bring home ourselves—from previously loved books waiting for their next reader to original art made by our 10-year-old artist-in-residence and little treasures chosen simply because they made us smile.
We believe some of the best things are the ones you stumble across when you weren’t really looking—the perfect book, a piece of art that makes you happy, or a tiny gift that immediately makes you think of someone you love. That’s the feeling we want Mother Duck to have: a little shop full of things worth discovering.

It all started with a silly family nickname…
In fact, I bet you’d never guess that I used to hate ducks. Gasp, I know! Now I’m over here buying rubber ducks every time I see one (I don’t even own a Jeep), and building a brand with my daughter completely based on this adorable feathery bird.
