A Thousand Ways to Express Yourself
and none of them are “right.” What I’m trying to say is you don’t have to speak eloquently or write fantastic prose, take breathtaking photos, or paint like Picasso to get your point across.
What you do need though is a little courage. The courage to let yourself show up as you are. To stop worrying about what everyone else thinks. To stop comparing your art with other people’s art. Because when you do that…you might just find that we’re all able to exist in the same space & our worth isn’t less than simply because it’s different.
Whether you express yourself through sketches, poetry, acrylics, film, food, words…or the thousand other art forms out there, what matters is that you dared to put yourself out there. To shine. To be judged. To show love in a manner that means something to you. It’s how you’ll be remembered. And that says a whole lot more than being “right” ever will,
So forget about the people watching (or pay more attention if your goal is to attract them) & go tell your story. However messy or chaotic or embarrassing you may think it is. Express yourself how you want to. Then give yourself a hug. You earned it.
